Apple Picking - It's a Tradition!

Mommy, Baba and I went apple picking yesterday (Saturday). We went to Goold Orchards just down the street from our house. The drive out didn't give me quite enough time to take a nap in the car (that wasn't the case on the way back - I was out cold!). We went early enough that their was still a cool crispness in the air (I haven't felt that kind of cold yet - I've only been around since May). Lots and lots of trees. I love trees. Something about how big and leafy they are. These trees, as you might expect (if you've gone apple picking before, unlike me), had shiny red apples on them. We picked, Mommy and Baba ate (taste tested, I guess), and then we went to the Orchard's country store and bought cider doughnuts (Mommy said they were delicious) and hot cider (Baba loves hot cider). Lots of folks came up to me while Baba and I were walking around the store - you know, the usual..."you're so cute," yada, yada, yada. People are so kind.
