Thursday morning as Mommy, Baba and I were having breakfast, Mommy mentioned that she and Baba were going to see the "baby doctor" to find out if my sibling was going to be a boy or a girl. She wanted to know what I thought it would be, to which I replied - "girl." And I was right! The newest addition to our family, due to arrive on or about September 8th, will in fact be a baby girl. So what impact will her arrival have? First, I get a playmate (which, for the record, we're all pretty excited about). Second, she'll likely benefit from my lightly used clothing and other baby items. Third, Baba is pushed further into minority status in a house quite literally filled with women. All of this having been said, the fact remains - I'm going to be a big sister and I've super psyched! Gosh, have I got a lot to teach this kid when she shows up.
