Happy Thanksgiving!

Yes, yes it was a very happy Thanksgiving!

Leading up to the food-filled holiday, I was repeating over and over again all of the delicious food that we would be eating not once, but twice (at Yiayia's house and then again at Grandma's house). You know - turkey, potatoes, broccoli, etc. etc. Of which I had...very little (if any!) Turkey, no potatoes (mashed or otherwise) and few veggies. I did, however, have cranberry sauce, sweet potato pie and lots of bread. It was great!!

As for Victoria, she stuck to her liquid diet...if you know what I mean.

Here's hoping everyone had a great Turkey Day!

Museum of Play

Yes, there actually is a national museum of "play." Mommy, Baba, Theo Strat, Yiayia and I all visited it a few weeks ago during our Thanksgiving visits to Oswego/Rochester. It's in downtown Rochester and it's super cool! The picture of Mommy and me is us on the Sesame Street "stoop." I visited with Elmo, I flew a plane, shopped at a pint-sized Wegmans grocery store (and actually checked myself out at a real, functioning cash register), visited the Berenstain Bears (and their quilt shop), and rode a train. When everything was said and done, I was beat. I went to bed early and woke up late the next morning. It was a great time. I can't wait to go back! If you're ever in Rochester and are young at heart, check out the Strong Museum of Play.

My First Thanksgiving

Last week (and weekend) I experienced my first Thanksgiving!

I was limited to the standard carrots, sweet potatoes and peas (all mashed up and easy to swallow), but by the looks of it everyone else was eating turkey, potatoes, vegetables, cranberry sauce, pies and other desserts. My only observation is that everyone ate and ate and ate...they just kept eating. Seems like a lot to me. We did it once at Yiayia and Papou's house and then again at Grandma and Papa Eddie's house. So there was lots and lots of food to be had! I stuck to my standard mushy variety.

Here's a picture of me in my Thanksgiving dress. I spit-up on it shortly after this photo was taken. Pretty cute, though, huh?

Here's a photo of me and Papou after Thanksgiving dinner.

And here's a picture of me and Papa Eddie at our "second Thanksgiving" in Oswego.
