Greetings!

Hello. My name is Victoria Ann Christakis, and I'm the youngest "Christakis daughter." I'm almost three-months old and just began school on Monday. My older sister, Katerina, wrote her first post on this blog just as she was beginning school, so I thought I'd do the same. My first two days at Tutor Time have been really fun. I've spent much of the day looking up at the ceiling and sitting on my teacher, Ms. Sue's, lap. Today, all of the teacher's commented on what a "good baby" I am...and it's only day two. What an impression! I look forward to sharing my views and insights with you periodically on this blog.

Open House

Tonight we hosted an open house at school. Mommy, Baba and Victoria all came to my classroom. We did circle time, painted with apples, drew with ice cubes (and Jell-O) and carved a pumpkin. I also showed Mommy and Baba the police car and boat that I ride in when we play in "the Village." It was lots of fun. When we all left school after I showed everyone around, it was snowing outside! Before Halloween?!? What a surprise. I wasn't exactly sure how to react. Not that I was speechless...I'm never speechless.

My First Day at School

Hello. Well, today was my first day at school. Mommy and Baba drove me to Tutor Time this morning. I think we were all a little nervous, but once I met my teacher, Ms. Sue, I was OK. Mommy looked a little sad, and Baba definitely seemed a little anxious. Not sure why - Ms. Sue and the good folks at Tutor Time probably know more about people like me - you know, the small, relatively new to the world types - than Mommy and Baba do. Fact is, I did everything I usually do in a day - I ate, I slept, I pooped and peed. In between, I played a bit and stared straight at the ceiling. The noise bugged me a couple of times - these other kids can be so immature! I'll get used to their episodes in time, of course. By 4:30, Baba was there to pick me up and before I knew it, I was lying on my back staring at the family room ceiling. Ah, isn't life grand! Well, tomorrow's another day - actually, tomorrow night is bath night...YAY! I love my baths!
