Super Bowl, SUPER Prediction

With the football season (sadly) behind us, I wanted to brag a bit about my football acumen. As some of you know, since the start of the playoffs over a month ago, I've basically been accurate in predicting the winning team 75% of the time. This includes the 49ers over the Saints, the Broncos over the Steelers, and the Giants over the Packers. Tonight, I was 100% correct in picking "Big Blue" over Brady and his boys to become world champions. Here's the video proof (NOTE: I fleetingly selected the Pats, but thought better of it).

January = Playoffs (and family!)

We hosted friends and family for four consecutive weekends in January. First, of course, was our annual New Year's Eve gathering with my friends Wilson and Kaya (and their parents). Next Yiayia and Papou visited (we watched the Wild Card round of the playoffs), then Grandma and Papa Eddie dropped Aunt Meghan off at school and they stopped by (we watched the Divisional round of the playoffs) and then, finally, Theo Strat visited to watch the conference championship games with us.

My realization? Football brings families together! We yelled and screamed at the TV - sometimes the teams heard us, usually they didn't.

It was so great having all these special guests visit us over the past few weeks...so much so that this past weekend was, well, kind of boring (the Pro Bowl only added to that boredom!).

Baba and I are rooting with "The Pack" this weekend...we're all about underdogs in this family (Go Bills!).

Dreaming of Bills' Wins

Football season started Thursday and "our team" (that's Baba's team) - the Buffalo Bills - make their season debut tomorrow on Monday Night Football. From overhearing Baba's conversations with Theo Strat, it doesn't sound like their is much promise this season. I guess we can always dream of Bills' wins...
